Export each track as a separate WAV or AIFF file (24-bit, 44.1kHz or higher). If you have a beat, separate it into individual stems — kicks, 808s, hi-hats, and melodies split out gives Matty the most control over your low end. Label your vocal tracks clearly: lead vocals, doubles, and ad-libs as separate files. Make sure all tracks start at the same point in your timeline so everything stays synced. Disable all effects on the master channel. We also accept Pro Tools, Logic, and Studio One sessions — just bounce any virtual instruments to audio before sending.
What if I need changes after the first mix?
Hip Hop mixing and mastering is all about the details — if the 808 isn’t sitting right, the vocals need more presence in the hook, or the ad-libs aren’t cutting through the way you heard them, just say the word.
